Gladiators Blank Cyclones, 2-0
CINCINNATI, Ohio – Jonathan Parker scored twice while Goaltender Ryan Zapolski turned aside all 21 shots he faced as the Gwinnett Gladiators (30-14-7-4) shutout the Cincinnati Cyclones (24-19-1-7) by a 2-0 final score in front of 2,310 at U.S. Bank Arena on Wednesday night. Cyclones Deal Brad Fogal to Kalamazoo
CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that they have traded goaltender Brad Fogal to the Kalamazoo Wings in exchange for future considerations. Fogal, a rookie from Sharon, Ontario, appeared in 11 games with the Cyclones this season and earned a 4-4-3 record with a 2.78 goals-against average. HOFFMAN ESTATES, Illinois – The Cincinnati Cyclones (23-18-1-7) exploded for five goals in the final two periods as they rolled past the Chicago Express (22-21-6-2) by a 7-3 final score in front of 2,046 at Sears Centre on Saturday night. Cyclones Rally to Earn Point, But Fall in Shootout 5-4
CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones (22-18-1-7) rallied from a 4-1 third period deficit to force overtime but ultimately fell in a shootout to the Kalamazoo Wings (29-16-2-3) by a 5-4 final score in front of 4,262 at U.S. Bank Arena on Friday night. The Wings jumped ahead 1-0 at 6:38 as Dustin Cloutier caught a pass from Darren Archibald in the Cincinnati slot and lit the lamp, making it 1-0.
