Milwaukee Admirals Assign Four to Cyclones

CINCINNATI , Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) have reassigned forward Josh Shalla and defensemen Taylor Aronson and Charles Olivier-Roussel to the club. In addition, the Admirals loaned forward Andre Bouvet-Morrissette to the Cyclones.
Shalla, the Nashville Predators 4th round selection in 2011, is entering his rookie season after spending the last four years in the Ontario Hockey League. In 2011-12, he finished second on the Saginaw Spirit with 76 points (40 goals, 36 assists) in 53 games.
Aronson, a 20-year-old Placentia, California native, will embark on his second season a pro. With the Cyclones in 2011-12, the Nashville Predators 2010 3rd round selection posted 18 points (5 goals 13 assists) in 40 games. He also logged 15 contests with the Milwaukee Admirals and tallied one assist.
Olivier-Roussel, a 21-year-old defenseman, will also be playing in his first professional season after a five-year career in the QMJHL. A season ago, the six-foot-one, 196-pound rear guard appeared in 58 games for the Saint John Seadogs where he finished third on the team in penalty minutes (65) and helped his team to the QMJHL title. He also contributed 40 points (13 goals, 27 assists) during his time on the ice last season.
Bouvet-Morrissette, a rookie forward, also comes to the Cyclones from the QMJHL. Last year, he played in 63 regular season games for the Drummondville Voltigeurs and finished tied for the team lead in points (72), led the team in goals (39), and second on the team in assists (33).
The foursome of players is expected to join the team on Monday in preparation for the Cyclones 2012 First Face-Off this Saturday, October 13 at U.S. Bank Arena.
