CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, are proud to announce this season’s bobblehead lineup. Friday, January 17 will see Hollywood Actor and local Cyclones fan Josh Hutcherson immortalized in bobblehead form while Saturday, March 8 will see Cyclones Captain #12 David MacDonald featured in the first ever ‘bobblefist”. The first 2,500 fans in attendance for each of these games will take home the keepsake.
One of the most accomplished young actors in Hollywood today, the Union, Kentucky native has starred in a myriad of motion pictures including RV, Kicking & Screaming, Bridge to Terabithia, and Journey to the Center of the Earth. In addition, Josh will revive his role as Peeta Mellark in Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire which will see its United States release on November 22. Josh has been a long time Cyclones fan and was in attendance for both of the Kelly Cup clinching victories.
Recently named Captain of the 2013-14 squad, David MacDonald starts his third season with the Cyclones. The Baddeck, Nova Scotia native led the Cyclones last season with 11 fighting majors and 117 PIMs. The Defenseman has already amassed 4 fighting majors and 34 PIMs this season. Different than a traditional bobblehead, the David MacDonald bobblefist will feature two bobbling fists instead of a bobbling head.
The Cyclones will return to the ice at U.S. Bank Arena on Saturday, November 23 when they welcome the Reading Royals for the first time since the 2013 Eastern Conference Finals! The first 1,500 fans ages 2-12 will receive a Kids Jersey T-shirt of Cyclones defenseman Chris Reed. Tickets are on sale now! Call 513.421.PUCK or visit CyclonesHockey.com to secure your seats.
