CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that they have acquired defenseman Devon Krogh (DEV-in, CROW) from the Gwinnett Gladiators in exchange for cash considerations.
Krogh, a 24-year-old West Vancouver, British Columbia native, had earned three points (2g, 1a) in 21 games with the Gladiators this season. Prior to going pro this year, he was a four-year letter winner at The Ohio State University where he amassed 41 points (8g, 33a) in 129 games. He was a teammate of fellow Buckeye alum and Cyclones defenseman Chris Reed.
Krogh will make his Cincinnati debut tonight as the Cyclones visit the Evansville IceMen at 8:15pm ET. Fans can hear the game on the Cyclones Radio Network (CyclonesHockey.com, America One, Cyclones Mobile App) beginning at 7:45pm ET.
The Cyclones will return to the ice at U.S. Bank Arena on Saturday, January 4 when they host the Reading Royals at 7:30pm. It will be the annual Throwback Night and Teddy Bear Toss! Fans can purchase seats for just $8 while enjoying $1 beers, pizza, hot dogs, and soda! Plus, when the Cyclones score their first goal, fans are encouraged to throw stuffed toys on the ice to be collected and donated to the Cincinnati Police Department!
