Last night the coaching staff splt the goalies right down the middle.  They played Taylor for the first half of the game before putting Hince in midway through the second period.  I wouldn't be suprised if we say that same strategy again tonight.

As Jarrod Skalde told me in an interview this week...preseason games aren't as much about the score as about progress in all areas.  Last night, the Clones went 6 for 6 with the penalty kill...which was an area he wanted to improve upon from last season.

Regardless of what happens tonight, Skalde will have to make some tough decisions after tonight's game as the active roster must get cut down to 20.  There are currently 26 players in camp.

Next week we will debut our four-part series entitled "Making the Cut" where we will take you inside the locker room, into the coaches offices, and onto the ice.  Be sure to stay tuned to CyclonesHockey.com and my blog for all the details on how to watch!
