Thoughts on Aubin signing and more....

Yesterday (Tuesday) was a big day for the Cyclones, as they announced the re-addition of skilled forward Mathieu Aubin for the upcoming year.

As Coach Skalde mentioned in the press release, he is a great teammate in addition to being a dangerous offensive weapon....it couldn't have been said any better.  Having gotten to know Mathieu over the years, this is a guy that really helps bring the team together.  Now, sometimes, those types of players don't possess the same type of on-ice skill...however, Aubin was arguably one of the Cyclones most consistent players last season and finished in the team lead in points.  Having him locked in this early (if you can call July early) in the offseason is absolutely huge.  Can't wait for him to get back to town!
